O grze
D&D meets Franchise Manager, Gargadusa’s Tower is a supremely deep guild management simulation that spans generations. Build your adventurer guild from nothing. Recruit heroes, complete quests, and descend the mysterious tower to confront the power that lies within.
BEFORE YOU BUY
This game is still growing. I update it constantly, I'm active every day in the official Discord and there is a free demo here on Steam if you want to try it first to see if it's for you.
About AI. I make this game solo and I use AI tools to do it. The game originally launched with AI placeholder art, however, most of that art has been replaced/updated (hooray!) and I am continually working on that aspect of the game with artists, so you'll see the look and feel change over time as more art comes in. Please note, I do not prohibit the artists I work with from using AI tools. Furthermore, I use Claude Code to scale my programming: bug fixes, restructuring code and translations, etc. The game design, the world, the stories and every creative call comes from me and the universe I'll be building over the next decade, but I wanted to make sure you saw this before purchase, just in case you are not comfortable with these tools.
Languages. The game is translated into 19 languages by Claude. It's good, but not perfect. If you spot a mistake, tell me in the Discord and I'll fix it.
Thanks for checking the game out!
BUILD A GUILD. DEFEAT THE TOWER. SAVE IRDA.
Recruit from 56 classes of adventurers and send them into a 100-floor buried tower where death is permanent and your best warrior or mage might not come back. That's the core of the game, but there is an incredible amount of content that spirals outward from that singular thread: how do you support those adventurers, where do you deploy your resources, and what alliances (and enemies) will you make along the way while you do what it takes to save the realm?

Each adventurer is procedurally generated and unique. They are born with zodiac sun, moon, and rising signs that define who they are and are augmented by their personal history both in and outside of your guild. Friendships, successes, failures, stats, ambitions and flaws; they all add up to make each adventurer who they are. An Aries Berserker who's best friend just died while fighting a Woundspawn won't take orders the same way a Virgo Harmony Druid will. A Capricorn won't appreciate the Gemini kleptomaniac skimming off the top after every quest and if that Capricorn is your Commander, they sure as hell will let you know what's on their mind.
Your job is to empower those voices to row in the same direction in hopes of buildng a guild of great renown to keep fighting (or feeding) the Tower.
THE TOWER AWAITS

An ancient and immovable buried tower has awoken beneath the frontier town of Hiltcrest, spewing monsters across the realm. The Crown has authorized independent adventurer guilds to fight back. You are one of many Guild Masters who answered the call and the world around you slowly and steadily unfolds over years (and decades) of play.
RECRUIT AND DEVELOP
• Scout and sign adventurers as they drift into Hiltcrest. Whether it be a common Archer or an ultra rare Oath Paladin, each adventurer brings something unique to the table to spark something special thanks to a deep chemistry and bond system that could turn a good group into the Party of Heroes if navigated just right.
• Train them, unlock traits through life-long milestones and watch raw recruits become legends who one day retire and perhaps join your staff as an instructor, scout, or even a cook.
• Run an Academy that empowers your instructors to develop talent in a homegrown system starting at the age of 14. Sign your best students at 18 and throw them into the fold or sell their contracts to a Rival Guild looking for that high potential ranged dps.
• Manage contracts, wages, chemistry and morale. Push them too hard and they walk. Coddle them and they won't survive the Tower. Put them in the wrong party and things get interesting fast.
• Earn their trust with quiet words between quests and watch rivalries and friendships form inside your own roster.
BUILD YOUR GUILD ACROSS GENERATIONS
• Raise more than 30 buildings: barracks, armory, infirmary, training yard, tavern, observatory, workshop and more.
• Hire staff: scouts to find talent, astrologers to read the stars, crafters to forge, enchant and brew your gear.
• Climb from a scrappy upstart to a guild the whole realm knows, then pick a specialization that shapes your late game.
• Lead the guild through your Commander, who reads the room, writes you letters and helps guide your guild through the hard times.
THE WORLD CHANGES
World Events and World Bosses disrupt your game in unforeseen ways that alter the course of each playthrough. A goblin horde descends from the mountains and burns everything in its wake, a great winter takes hold and brings all of the realm to a halt, or even an Ashen Stag, corrupted by the forces within the Tower, seeks to level the northern reaches with flame.
Send parties on quests from simple bounties to full raids and watch them fight in tactical auto-battlers. Descend 100 floors of deadly challenges, face their bosses and confront the power at the top. Hold the frontier on the War Table: send patrols and garrisons, run supply lines and keep the roads safe.
RIVALS, FACTIONS AND THE CROWN

• Compete against more than 30 rival guilds, each with its own roster, personality and agenda. Trade with them, poach from them or earn a nemesis
• Race your division for Annual Renown and fight for the Crown Cup, a championship at the end of every year
• Answer letters from the realm's factions, swear oaths, win their favor and take on Crown contracts
MORE WAYS TO PLAY
• Challenge Runs with their own rules and goals
• Multiplayer leagues: play alongside friends in one shared realm (beta)
• Twitch Mode: your viewers join the guild as adventurers
• Cozy, Normal and Custom difficulty with sliders for every setting, plus an optional time limit for the brave
• And, my favorite, Academy-only mode
