About the Game

Shape your ship, test it against real physics and put her to the test against others.

Use a curve based system to draw out a  trireme, a galleon, a pre-dreadnought, a submarine, a floating fortress with far too many guns. When you're done you launch  and the weight, the sails, the engines, the wind, and the waves decide what happens next. This is a game of creativity and physics.

Shape it

  • The hull is elegant curves, you drag the keel line, pull the beam out and lift the bow. Decks and planking rebuild themselves around whatever you did, a ship appears.

  • Build however you like: hover a spot on the ship and scroll through the parts that fit there, or open the Library and pick from the menu.

  • Hundreds of parts, and you can scale or stretch all of them. Stretch a gun barrel and it hits harder or further. A bigger horn is a deeper horn.

  • Colour themes repaint the whole ship in one click. Build from any era with a focus to pre WW2, this is a game of steam and sail.  But don't let that limit your imagination!

Sail it

  • Everything item has weight, your hull displaces water and carries that weight.  Guns are heavy, ammo is heavy, put high and your ship becomes top heavy and keels over.  But that's what keels and wide hulls are for, you solve it.

  • Sails need correct wind, engines need boilers and funnels, and a long slim hull will always outrun a fat one no matter how many engine boosters you cram in.

  • Fit diving rudders and you get a submarine. Torpedoes, mines and depth charges become a threat to everyone, including the ship that fired them.

  • Wakes, spray, surf on the rocks, storms rolling in. Easy physics are there if you want defy gravity and buoyancy, but switch to realistic physics when you want to feel satisfied.

Take her into the arena (all of the combat features below are arriving november 19th)

  • PvP arenas are live and open. No lobbies to set up, no clans, nothing to grind, maximum chance to find someone in the blue expanse.

  • Four arenas: No quarter (anything goes), Bloody sails (sail only), Even keel (easy physics, bring the weird stuff) and Racing (no weapons, just speed and weather).

  • Turrets, broadsides, torpedoes, mines, depth charges, and ramming if all else fails.

  • Damage you can see. Shells leave holes, fires spread, water comes in below the waterline. Sunk ships stay as wrecks, and someone with a crane can haul them back up for crates and healing.

  • Private sessions with friends, your rules, just show off, dual or lazily sail around a scenic open world.

  • A co-op arena is in the works: hunt the most dangerous ships on the Steam Workshop as a group.

Keep it

Steam Workshop with weekly build themes and rankings. Export to FBX, STL or 3MF for 3D printing or your own game, with a free commercial license. Or send her straight into Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles.

Before you buy

  • Building is all mouse, 3D feeling is a plus, give it ten minutes and a bit of curiosity, there are more mechanics hidden here than can fit in any tutorial. Exploration is key.

  • There's no campaign, no missions and no progression. You build, you sail,  from the 19th you fight other people.

  • Planned: airships, more arenas, more parts, more guns.

  • Developed with passion, developer always responds on steam or discord, ask for a feature and it may appear.
