NIMRODS

NIMRODS is a bullet heaven roguelite about building one ridiculous gun per run. Every Augment works with every other, so a run can end with sawblades that ricochet, a flamethrower that summons icebergs, or a banana gun that calls in artillery.

Build The Gun

Pick from 18 guns, then choose a new gun upgrade every level across seven slots, from Barrel to Charm. Each one upgrades through tiers and branches two ways: a Splitting Magazine can keep splitting the splits, or turn them into cutting blades. Reroll or Banish what you don't want, and keep going until something breaks.

Keep The Gun

Death ends the run, but your gun lives to fire another day. Equip any gun from a past run to your drone and it fights beside you next run, leveling that gun up the same way you did. Tune your drone’s movement and what it targets, push further than before, and bring back an even stronger gun.

Incoming!

Help arrives at terminal velocity. Airdrop Pods slam into the swarm all run long, so fight your way to one and pick a new upgrade for your gun. Unlock pods that heal, pay out or do something stranger, upgrade them, and set the exact order they fall in.

One Huge Map

No arenas. Every run drops you onto one huge handcrafted map, from the Chaos Grove to the fungal Violet Forest, where puffballs heal and some mushrooms explode. The deeper you go, the bigger the boss.

Go Endless

Win the run and keep the build going. Endless has no last wave and the swarm keeps scaling. Climb the weekly kill leaderboard. Eventually, the swarm wins

Pick Your NIMROD

Every NIMROD you deploy is an expendable clone, cooked up from genes you can tweak and armed with an ability of its own. Complete Missions, unlock and upgrade 20+ of those Genes, buy Field Perks and chase Medals in the Gundex. Losses are expected. Replacements are on order.
